aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2241\"><p>L&rsquo;ath\u00e9rome correspond \u00e0 un \u00e9paississement progressif de la paroi des art\u00e8res pouvant aboutir \u00e0 terme \u00e0 leur occlusion compl\u00e8te.<\/p><p>Cette maladie est favoris\u00e9e par les facteurs de risque cardio-vasculaires :<br \/>&#8211; \u00e2ge ( &gt; 50 ans chez l&rsquo;homme et 60 ans chez la femme)<br \/>&#8211; sexe masculin<br \/>&#8211; tabac<br \/>&#8211; diab\u00e8te<br \/>&#8211; hypertension art\u00e9rielle<br \/>&#8211; cholest\u00e9rol<br \/>&#8211; surpoids, inactivit\u00e9 physique&#8230;<\/p><p>L&rsquo;ath\u00e9rome peut atteindre les art\u00e8res du cou (carotides) , des jambes (art\u00e9riopathie des membres inf\u00e9rieurs \/ art\u00e9rite) ou du c\u0153ur (infarctus du myocarde,\u2026 suivi par votre cardiologue).<\/p><p><strong>L&rsquo;Art\u00e9riopathie Oblit\u00e9rante des Membres Inf\u00e9rieurs (AOMI)<\/strong> est une pathologie chronique potentiellement grave qui peut se manifester par des douleurs \u00e0 la marche (crampes essentiellement), par des douleurs des extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s des pieds au repos ou par des plaies ayant du mal \u00e0 cicatriser spontan\u00e9ment ( &gt; 1 mois).\u00a0Elle peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre asymptomatique, mais reste le reflet de votre risque cardio-vasculaire global d&rsquo;o\u00f9 l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat d&rsquo;un d\u00e9pistage pr\u00e9coce.<\/p><p><strong>L&rsquo;Ath\u00e9rome Carotidien<\/strong>, \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de st\u00e9nose (ou r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement) des art\u00e8res carotides, est quant \u00e0 lui asymptomatique, mais n\u00e9cessite un d\u00e9pistage chez les patients \u00e0 risque en raison de la majoration de survenue d&rsquo;AVC (Accident Vasculaire C\u00e9r\u00e9bral).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2471\"><p>Elle correspond \u00e0 un \u00e9largissement progressif de la paroi des art\u00e8res,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>notamment l&rsquo;aorte abdominale.<\/p><p>Cette maladie est li\u00e9e aux facteurs de risque cardio-vasculaires et doit \u00eatre recherch\u00e9e chez :<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/><\/span>&#8211; tous les hommes de plus de 60 ans<br \/>&#8211; les femmes de plus de 60 ans qui fument et sont trait\u00e9es pour de l&rsquo;hypertension art\u00e9rielle<br \/>&#8211; les hommes ou les femmes de plus de 50 ans dont un proche est suivi pour un an\u00e9vrysme.<\/p><p>Son \u00e9volution est souvent asymptomatique, les complications (rupture d&rsquo;an\u00e9vrysme) peuvent quant \u00e0 elles \u00eatre fatales, d&rsquo;o\u00f9 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un d\u00e9pistage.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section veineuse<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2291\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"1\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2291\"><p><strong>La thrombose veineuse profonde (phl\u00e9bite), ou superficielle (paraphl\u00e9bite)<\/strong>, est d\u00e9finie par la formation d\u2019un caillot sanguin (thrombus) dans une veine, le plus fr\u00e9quemment\u00a0au niveau des membres inf\u00e9rieurs.<br \/>Dans certains cas, il peut arriver que le thrombus se d\u00e9tache de la paroi veineuse et migre vers le c\u0153ur jusqu\u2019\u00e0 atteindre une art\u00e8re pulmonaire et entrainer son obstruction, c\u2019est ce que l&rsquo;on appelle l\u2019embolie pulmonaire.<\/p><p>C&rsquo;est une pathologie fr\u00e9quente et potentiellement grave, dont le diagnostic et la prise en charge th\u00e9rapeutique doivent \u00eatre rapides, afin d&rsquo;\u00e9viter les complications.<\/p><p>Cette maladie est parfois li\u00e9e \u00e0 des facteurs favorisants : chirurgie r\u00e9cente (surtout orthop\u00e9dique) de moins de 3 mois, immobilisation (alitement, pl\u00e2tre), grossesse, contraception, cancer, thrombophilie (maladie de la coagulation).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4761\"><p>A chaque pas, l&rsquo;appui du pied active la circulation sanguine des veines vers le haut (c&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on appelle le retour veineux). En principe, le sang ne peut pas redescendre vers le bas car il existe des clapets anti-retour (appel\u00e9s valvules) \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des veines.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Mais lorsque les veines sont atteintes (perte de tonicit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 des parois), ce retour veineux est plus difficile. Le sang se met alors \u00e0 stagner dans les veines des jambes, ce qui dilate de plus en plus la paroi de la veine jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 devenir \u00ab\u00a0malade\u00a0\u00bb. On parle alors de varice.<\/p><p>Les varices peuvent \u00eatre visibles (veine dilat\u00e9e et tortueuse) ou invisibles (\u00ab\u00a0varice interne\u00a0\u00bb), leur taille est d\u00e9finie \u00e9chographiquement ( &gt; 3 millim\u00e8tres).<\/p><p>Les varicosit\u00e9s ( taille &lt; 3 millim\u00e8tres) correspondent \u00e0 des petites veinules visibles (bleues, violac\u00e9es, rouges), elles traduisent plut\u00f4t une fragilit\u00e9 des petits vaisseaux, et n&rsquo;ont pas de retentissement m\u00e9dical le plus souvent.<\/p><p><strong>Les facteurs pr\u00e9disposants<\/strong> <strong>sont<\/strong> : le sexe f\u00e9minin, l\u2019h\u00e9r\u00e9dit\u00e9 familiale, la s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 (manque d&rsquo;activit\u00e9 physique), le surpoids, la grossesse, certains m\u00e9tiers (notamment ceux qui demandent une position debout prolong\u00e9e).<\/p><p><strong>Les sympt\u00f4mes<\/strong> qui doivent vous alerter sont:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<br \/><\/span>&#8211; sensation de jambes lourdes, surtout en fin de journ\u00e9e ou en \u00e9t\u00e9,<br \/>&#8211; gonflement des chevilles, pieds ou mollets (\u0153d\u00e8mes)<br \/>&#8211; d\u00e9mangeaisons du bas des jambes,<br \/>&#8211; fourmillements, besoin de bouger les jambes, surtout en fin de
